Camden County Roadwork Projects

Several roadway projects will be underway across Camden County during the week of July 13 to July 17. 

“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

Audubon

  • Crews will be working on East Atlantic Avenue on Monday, July 13, to Friday, July 17, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be a partial eastbound road closure between West Merchant Street in Audubon and Station Avenue in Haddon Heights.

NJ American Water Launches 2026 Summer Camp

New Jersey American Water today announced the launch of the 2026 Flow Forward Summer Camp Program in Camden, offering high school students from Free All Minds and Women of the Dream a three-day workforce development experience featuring hands-on learning, mentorship, resume and interview preparation, and networking with water industry professionals.

The program will be hosted July 14-16 at American Water’s headquarters on the Camden Waterfront and New Jersey American Water’s Delaware River Regional Water Treatment Plant in Delran.With American Water headquartered in Camden, Flow Forward reflects the company’s continued commitment to investing in local youth, expanding career awareness and strengthening connections with the community it calls home.

Bill Protecting Dialysis Patient Access to Comfort & Support Clears Assembly

Legislation known as the “New Jersey Dialysis Patient Support Person Accommodation Act” passed the General Assembly last week. Sponsored by Assemblywoman Heather Simmons, Bill A3434 would ensure dialysis patients can have a designated support person present during treatment.
