Gabby Lisella, who has dedicated 26 years to Rowan Athletics as a coach and administrator, announced her retirement from the University, effective July 1.
As Rowan’s associate athletic director for the past seven years, Lisella was involved with facilities, operations and game management, and served as the sport supervisor for several programs. She oversaw numerous facilities projects, including construction of the new Student-Athlete Weight Room in Esby Gym that is scheduled to open in the fall.

DOJ program to provide compensation to qualifying individuals of international scheme
The FBI is encouraging victims of the OneCoin international cryptocurrency investment scheme whose investments resulted in a net loss to apply for compensation through a special Department of Justice (DOJ) program before the June 30 deadline.
“Misled by falsified statements and empty promises, many unknowingly depleted their savings for a fraudulent investment scheme in an emerging financial ecosystem that would never pay out,” said FBI New York Assistant Director in Charge James C. Barnacle Jr. in a DOJ press release about the announcement. “With the unwavering support from the Department of Justice, the FBI maintains its commitment to returning these stolen funds to their rightful owners.”

Commissioner Honored Five Camden County Veterans

Commissioner Colleen Bianco Bezich and the Camden County Office of Veterans Affairs held a medal ceremony aboard the Battleship New Jersey to recognize the service and sacrifices of five Camden County veterans.
“Our veterans answered the call to serve when their country needed them, and they deserve to know their commitment has not been forgotten,” said Commissioner Bianco Bezich, liaison to Veterans Affairs. “It is an honor to recognize them and express our gratitude on behalf of the entire county.”
The following veterans were honored and presented with one or more Camden County service medals, including the Camden County Military Service Medal, Camden County Korean War Service, Medal Camden County Vietnam Service, Medal, and the Camden County War on Terrorism Medal.

NJMVC Facilities to Close July 3-4 for Holiday

All New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC) facilities, including agencies, road test sites, and inspection stations, will be closed Friday, July 3, 2026, and Saturday, July 4, 2026, in observance of the upcoming holiday.
The Commission’s website, NJMVC.gov, remains open 24/7, providing a convenient way for customers to complete their motor vehicle business. Over 25 online services are available, including driver license renewals and replacements, vehicle registration renewals and replacements, address changes, driver record requests, personalized and specialty plate requests, and more.
New Jerseyans in need of motor vehicle services should always visit the website first to use online services, schedule required appointments for in-person services and driver testing, and resolve the most common NJMVC-related customer concerns.
