Burlington County Authorities Ask Public to Help Find Sex Offender

Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina announced that law enforcement officials continue to seek the public’s assistance locating a 61-year-old man who failed to register as a sex offender as required under Megan’s Law.

William Dean is described as a white male, standing 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 220 pounds. He may be in the Camden area, and may be using the name Billy Dean.

State law requires registered sex offenders who plan to move to a new residence to notify police in the town where they presently live about the change, and also provide their new address to police in the municipality where they intend to move.

Dean is considered a fugitive. Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is urged to call the Prosecutor’s Office at

Michelle Yampolsky and Matthew Gomez Married

Michelle Ness Yampolsky and Matthew Alfred Gomez were married Dec. 31 in New York. Cantor Laura Stein officiated at One Hanover Square, an events space.

The couple met at Rutgers, from which both graduated.

Ms. Yampolsky-Gomez, 29, is the senior marketing manager at Essence, a digital media agency in New York.

She is the daughter of Yana Fridman Yampolsky and Henry Yampolsky of Livingston, N.J. The bride’s father works in New York as a senior customer solutions manager in the financial services division of Amazon Web Services. Her mother is a director in the New York corporate and investment banking offices of Crédit Agricole, the French bank.

Mr. Gomez, 30, works in New York as a technical recruiter for YouTube, the video-sharing subsidiary of Google.

He is a son of Sharon Kapuscinski Gorman of Mount Ephraim, N.J., and Col. Alfred F. Gomez of Cinnaminson, N.J. The groom’s mother is a middle school language arts teacher at Somerdale Park School in Somerdale, N.J. His father is the director of the medical command at Fort Dix, overseeing the medical operations for the New Jersey Army National Guard.

Rocco V. D\’Aversa, 95, of Mt. Ephraim, NJ

Rocco V. D\’Aversa, 95, of Mt. Ephraim, NJ  passed away December 13, 2019 with his children by his side at  Elmwood Hills Healthcare Center in Blackwood, NJ after fighting a courageous battle with Alzheimer\’s disease.

Husband of the late Marie D\’Aversa (nee Scarduzio). Beloved father of Leon D\’Aversa of Mt. Ephraim and Darlene (Carl Jr.) Capasso of West Deptford. Beloved grandfather to Joseph (Lauren) Capasso Cape Coral, Fl. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Rocco was an Army veteran and retired from Campbell Soup company after 25 years of service, a job he loved to go to every day. He enjoyed raising and racing homing pigeons with his best friend Joe. He enjoyed fishing every summer, golfing, the casino, gardening and spending a shore vacation with his daughter and grandson.

Jogger was Attacked at Haddon Lake Park, Mount Ephraim on Sunday, November 11


MOUNT EPHRAIM, NJ (November 12,2018)(CNBNewsnet)–Mount Ephraim Chief of  Police Brian Conte released the following information about an assault at the Haddon Lake Park on Kings Highway on Sunday, November 11. 

On November 11th, 2018 at approximately 7:00pm, the Mount Ephraim Police Department received a call for an assault at Haddon Lake Park. An adult female reported that while running the track around the lake, she was grabbed from behind by an unknown male and forced into a struggle. The victim was able to get away from the assailant, thankfully suffering only minor scrapes and abrasions. As she fled the scene, the victim observed a male wearing a puffy black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, possibly a mask and black shoes; running into the wooded area towards the Mount Ephraim Little League baseball fields.
