Woodbury, NJ – David J. Arrington, 45, was sentenced Friday to three years in state  prison by the Honorable William F. Ziegler for shoplifting and drug possession charges  pursuant to a plea agreement. 

According to documents filed in this case and statements made in open court: Arrington shoplifted $209 worth of merchandise from the Burlington Coat Factory in  Deptford in July 2024, and a duffle bag containing cash, gift cards, and a tablet from a  loss prevention employee at Walmart in Washington Township in July 2025. In  addition, a search warrant execution at the Motel 6 in Monroe Township found  Arrington in possession of methamphetamine. 

Woodbury, NJ – John M. Cocco, 82, of Washington Township was arrested and charged  with one count of second-degree possession of child sexual abuse material on Thursday,  Gloucester County Prosecutor Andrew B. Johns announced. 

According to documents filed in this case: 

The Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office received four tips from the National Center  for Missing and Exploited Children about an individual uploading files of child sexual  abuse material (CSAM). An investigation led to the execution of a search warrant at  Cocco’s residence where several electronic devices allegedly belonging to Cocco were  found. Forensic analysis of the devices found they contained 41,446 images and 103  videos of CSAM. 

Woodbury, NJ – A jury found Walter Gilliano, 28, of Franklinville, guilty of first-degree  murder and two related second-degree weapons charges Tuesday following a four-week trial  before the Honorable Roger Lai. 

According to documents filed in this case and statements made in open court: On Sept. 24, 2022, Franklin Township Police Department arrived at Villari’s Sports Bar for reports of a gunshot wound. The victim, Chad Stuart, 31, of Clayton, was lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head. Gilliano told officers he had shot Stuart. The  investigation revealed that Gilliano and the victim had argued in the parking lot after the  bar closed. The defendant then got into his car and drove away only to return a few minutes  later with a gun. An eyewitness told police that Gilliano pointed the gun at the victim and  shot him. The victim was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries.
