WinterFest Ice Skating returns to Cooper River Park

The Camden County Board of Commissioners is excited to announce the opening of the WinterFest Ice Skating Rink at Cooper River Park for the 2025-2026 season.

WinterFest officially opens on Friday, Nov. 28, and will be open Thursday through Sunday until Feb. 22, 2025.

“Winterfest has become a beloved holiday tradition in Camden County, and we are thrilled to celebrate its 12th year with our community,” said Commissioner Jeffrey Nash, liaison to the Parks Department. “I invite residents and visitors alike to take part in this festive opportunity for outdoor fun at Cooper River Park, which has become premier attraction for visitors throughout the state.”

The 60-foot by 120-foot ice rink will return to Cooper River Park across from the DoubleTree by Hilton hotelin Cherry Hill, at the corner of North Park Drive and Cuthbert Boulevard. The park will be transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with holiday decorations, food available for purchase inside the lodge, and much more.

The WinterFest Ice Skating Rink at Cooper River Park will be open Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Fridays from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Children 3 years of age and younger will be admitted onto the ice for free. Kids 4 to 12 will be admitted for $7 and adult admission is $9. Veterans and seniors will receive a discounted admission of $6. There is a $6 skate rental fee for all ages. Customers can also get their skates sharpened for $6.50. In addition, there is plenty of free parking around the park.

The following special holiday hours will also be observed:

  • Dec. 23: 12 p.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Christmas Eve: 12 p.m.  – 5 p.m.
  • Christmas Day: CLOSED
  • Holiday Week (12/26 – 12/30): 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • New Year’s Eve: 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • New Year’s Day: 12 p.m. – 10 p.m.
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Jan. 19): 12 p.m. – 9 p.m.
  • President’s Day (Feb. 16): 12 p.m. – 9 p.m.
  • Last day of the season (Feb. 22): 12 p.m. – 9 p.m.
