Rowan Men’s Soccer Edges Stockton, 1-0, on Late Goal by Schlotterbeck

GLASSBORO, NJ – Evan Schlotterbeck’s goal in the 87th minute lifted Rowan to a 1-0 win over Stockton in an NJAC men’s soccer battle this evening. The victory broke an 0-1-2 stretch for the Profs over the last three games improving them to 9-3-3 and 2-2-1 in the conference. Rowan also handed Stockton (8-4-3; 3-1-1) its first conference loss of the year.

The winning goal was set up as Christian McGillen crossed it and Luke McNamee settled the pass for Schlotterbeck, who stepped in and connected from inside the box into the right corner of the net at 87:39. It was the graduate student’s first goal at Rowan.

The match was even throughout, with both teams having their chances but not being able to break through with a goal. The teams were tied in shots, 12-12, with Rowan having the very narrow 6-5 margin in corner kicks.

Travis Holiday earned the victory in goal for Rowan as he made six saves.

Community Message: Message From Gloucester Township Police Chief David J. Harkins- Retirement

“Dear Gloucester Township Residents and Community Members,

After more than three decades of dedicated service to the Gloucester Township Police Department, I have made the decision to retire from my position as Chief of Police on November 1, 2025. Serving this community as a police officer has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and this decision comes with both gratitude and reflection.

From my first days on patrol to the privilege of leading the men and women as the 11th Chief of Police of this outstanding department, I have witnessed firsthand the strength, compassion, and resilience that make Gloucester Township such a special place to call home. Together, we have faced challenges, built partnerships, and created innovative programs that have become models for policing across New Jersey and beyond.
