Mary Flinn Parker of Gloucester City, GCHS Alumni, Retired from RCA & Camden Trust

Loving wife of 42 years to the late James A. Parker, Jr. Devoted mother of Therese Mallon, James (Barb), Patricia (Edward) Herda and Maryann (Daniel) Queen. Cherished grandmother of 9 and predeceased by her granddaughter, Amanda Davis. Beloved great-grandmother of 4. Dear Sister of Joseph (Genevieve) Flinn. Predeceased by her brothers: Raymond (surviving wife Bernadette) Flinn, James Flinn and Francis Flinn. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mary was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School in 1942 and was a lifelong devoted parishioner of Saint Mary’s R.C. Church. She worked for RCA in Camden and Camden Trust. She started her family with James and raising children and seeing grandchildren and great-grandchildren was her true love. She enjoyed her Irish Heritage and Irish music.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to her viewing on Tuesday evening from 5 pm to 7 pm and again Wednesday 9 am to 10 am at McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, (at Brown Street) Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 am at Saint Mary’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Interment with her late husband, James in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.

Rehab Center Pays $35,000 to a Deaf Man for not Providing an ALS Interpreter

Hoffman and the Division on Civil Rights announced today that an Essex County rehabilitation center has paid a former patient $35,000 to resolve allegations the man, who is deaf and communicates primarily through American Sign Language (ASL), was unlawfully denied the services of an ASL interpreter during an extended stay at the facility.

OFFICER DOWN: Police Officer Lloyd Reed, St. Clair Township Police Department, Pennsylvania

$\"6a00d8341bf7d953ef0120a82bebeb970b-120wi\"$ ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP PENNSYLVANIA (November 29, 2015)–Police Officer Lloyd Reed was shot and killed on Saturday, November 28, 2015 while responding to a domestic disturbance call at a home at 131 Ligonier Street, in New Florence.

He was fatally shot by the subject as he arrived at the location. Despite being wounded, Officer Reed was able to return fire and wounded the subject. The man fled the scene but was arrested by members of the Pennsylvania State Police approximately six hours later suffering a gunshot wound in the shoulder.

Officer Reed was transported to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

PHILADELPHIA PA–On November 25 2015, at 4:00 am, two unknown males gained entry to Wayne Food Market located at 4352 Wayne Avenue through the ceiling. Once inside the suspects took numerous cartoons of cigarettes and an undetermined amount of money then fled through the ceiling in an unknown direction.
