CNB ARCHIVES 2011: Brooklawn Man Stabbed 9 Times During Fight Outside of Pennant East Bar

(CNBNEWS.NET)- A 28- year- old Brooklawn man was stabbed numerous times during a fight in the Pennant East $\"Unknown-11\"$ Bar parking lot, Route 130, Bellmawr on April 23, 2011.

According to the victim, Larry Daniels, he was outside of the bar and was leaning on a vehicle. Daniels said he and the owner of the vehicle, Aaron Beebe, got into a verbal argument that escalated into a fight.

During that fight Beebe allegedly pulled a knife and stabbed Daniels 9 times.

According to his mother Patricia Newlin her son Larry was taken to the Cooper Trauma Center, Camden City. She said he also had a collapsed lung. \”The doctor told me the knife blade just missed one of his vital organs by 2 cm.\”

Beloved wife of the late Thomas L. Antis. Devoted mother of Sally McDermott (the late Edward) and Holly Schelling (William). Loving grandmother of Jennifer (John), Brian, Ed, Tom, Dan, Will (April), and Jamie (Rob). Great-grandmother of Giovanni, Milanna, Jason, Celeste, and Liam. Dear aunt and godmother of Reverend Kenneth E. Gelzhister.

Beverly was a longtime member of Brooklawn Methodist Church and a member of Bellmawr Senior Citizens.

There will be a viewing from 8 to 10am Monday morning, November 30th, at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral service 10am Monday, November 30th, at the funeral home.

Interment Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.

George H. Sturgis, Jr., Coastal Eagle Point Retiree, GHS Alumni \’49 , Army National Guard Member

George H. Sturgis, Jr., of Westville died on November 21 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 84. Born $\"\"$ raised in Gloucester City he attended St. Mary’s Grammar School and was a graduate of Gloucester City High School, class of 1949. George served in the National Guard for 4 years.

George retired from Coastal Eagle Point Plant in Westville, where he worked as a dockman for 35 years. He loved spending time with his family, especially during the holidays. He loved a good joke and could always get every one in the family to smile. He also enjoyed reading the newspaper and watching game shows. He was known to do good deeds in the neighborhood in his late years and took great pride in caring for his house and yard.
