 Voorhees, NJ – Effective December 1st, South Jersey-based Kennedy Health will launch a new palliative medicine care program in collaboration with Samaritan Healthcare & Hospice, which will serve as the hospital system’s preferred provider. Jackson Residents Oppose Six Flags Solar Plan

 

Jackson, NJ. Jackson, NJ citizens are in uproar over Six Flags Great Adventure’s Plan to deforest 70 acres of environmentally critical Pinelands adjacent to Colliers Mills Wildlife Management Area and in near proximity to hundreds of homes in order to build a solar power plant.

Residents are especially concerned about ground water contamination with heavy metals and carcinogens like hexavalent chromium, which can leech from panels due to damage from vandalism, fire, wear-and-tear, and natural events.
