Daniel J. Scavette, on October 29, 2015, of Runnemede. Age 65.

Beloved husband for 22 years of Teresa (nee Venneri). Devoted father of Aimee and the late Danielle Scavette and step-father of Tracy Gillotte. Loving grandpop of Lyla and Evan. Loving son of Irene V. (nee Kowalik) and the late Daniel P. Scavette. Dear brother of Michael, Bob (Sharon), and Gary (Carman) Scavette. Also survived by man’s best friends, Skipper and Sookie, and many nieces and nephews.

Dan was the owner and President of Daniel’s Custom Draperies, Inc. in Runnemede. He was an avid runner and enjoyed fishing, camping, and boating with his family.

There will be a viewing from 9 to 11am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral service 11am at the funeral home.

Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dan’s name to either Heartland Hospice Memorial Fund, 333 N. Summit Street, P.O. Box 10086, Toledo, OH 43699-0086 or to Vitas Innovative Hospice, 18 E. Laurel Road, 3rd Floor, Stratford, NJ 08084.

YOUR MONEY: TRICARE Young Adult premiums to Increase

PRESS RELEASE

The TRICARE Health Plan has announced the 2016 premiums for TRICARE Young Adult Prime and Standard options covering beneficiaries between 23 and 26 years old. These premiums are adjusted on an annual basis and go into effect Jan. 1, 2016.

 For 2016, the monthly premium for TYA Prime is $306 per month, and TYA Standard is $228 per month. TRICARE is required to set these premiums to cover the full cost of health care received by TYA beneficiaries. For the first time since TYA was created in 2011, TRICARE has sufficient statistically valid cost data to set annual premiums.

Brooklawn Police Arrest 23-Year-Old Suspect for Stealing Baby Formula from Shop Rite

BROOKLAWN NJ–On 10/28/2015 at 4:23 PM, Brooklawn Police were dispatched to the Brown\’s Shop Rite for the report of a male actively shoplifting in the store. Upon the arrival of the first officer, he observed the suspect physically fighting with store employees at the entrance. As the officer exited his patrol unit the suspect ran back into the store where a short foot pursuit took place prior to the suspect being tackled to the ground and taken into custody.
