The Youth Pheasant Hunt is this Saturday, October 31. Eight WMAs will host guided hunts for pre-registered youth hunters in the morning, while two areas will be open all day. All areas are open after 1 p.m., and all areas will be restocked with additional birds for the afternoon. Youth hunters must be accompanied by a non-shooting, NJ-licensed adult.

BEACH RENOURISHMENT PROJECT IN NORTHERN OCEAN CITY TO BEGIN\"\"

 TRENTON (October 29, 2015)— The Department of Environmental Protection and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) announced the completion of the beach and dune portion of a $57.6 million project to construct beaches and dunes in Cape May County today, the third anniversary of Superstorm Sandy.

DEP Commissioner Bob Martin and Lt. Col. Michael Bliss, Commander, Philadelphia District of USACE, were joined this morning by Sea Isle City Mayor and Cape May County Freeholder Len Desiderio and other federal, state and local officials at 58th Street in Sea Isle City as machinery from contractor Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co. began demobilizing.

Gloucester Township Police Crime Stoppers: A masked heavy set white male, wearing a black and orange \”TBAA Soccer\” winter jacket, gray sweat pants, black gloves, and displaying a knife and brass knuckles, demanded and stole currency, Newport Cigarettes, and Zig Zag Cigars from the store clerk. The clerk claimed the suspect had a soft voice while speaking, and continually stated he didn’t want any problems.
