Wounded Warrior Project & New York Film Academy Team Up for Workshop

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 4, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Wounded veterans had a chance to learn about framing, lighting, and reciting lines last weekend during a New York Film Academy workshop. Wounded Warrior Project ® (WWP) helped make the event possible last weekend as part of its engagement pillar.

WWP ensures service members stay connected with one another. Through its Alumni program, WWP hopes to create support through shared experiences. Fun events like this film academy experience can help get injured veterans out of their home, and help with their healing process. WWP considers injured veterans Alumni because they have earned their place in the organization through their sacrifice for our country. There are no fees to become part of WWP; all dues were paid on the battlefield.
