Agnes M. Peters of Gloucester City age 93

 

 

Surrounded by her loving family, on August 26, 2015. Age 93. (nee Bowe) Of Gloucester City. Loving wife of 41 years to the late Alexander Peters. Loving mother of Linda Plusch (John), Rosemary Peters, John A. Peters (Louise) and Jim Peters. Cherished grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 5. Beloved sister of Margaret Malan.

 

Agnes was a devoted member of the Gloucester City Senior Citizens Association and faithful parishioner of St. Mary’s Church. 

 

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Saturday morning from 10 to 11 AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM. Interment will follow in New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.

Cape May County Authorities Investigating Fatal Accident in Avalon; 71-Year-Old Man Killed

Cape May Court House, New Jersey – Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor and Avalon Police Chief William McCormick report that Detectives from the Cape May County Prosecutor\’s Office Fatal Accident Unit and members of the Avalon Police Department are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that occurred on August 25, 2015, in the area of 32nd Street and Dune Drive in Avalon.

The preliminary investigation reveled that on August 25, 2015 at approximately 6:40PM, a Sterling Acterra box truck, being operated by Frank Grosso, 59 years old of Oceanview, NJ, was traveling northbound on Dune Drive in Avalon, New Jersey. At the intersection of Dune Drive and 32nd Street the box truck made a turn onto 32nd Street and struck Ronald Stewart, a 71 year old resident of Avalon, who was riding a bicycle.
