Representatives from Coca-Cola, Ford Motor Co. and Xerox say they’ve asked Planned Parenthood to remove their names as corporate donors to the embattled organization.

Keith Harbaugh, director of the Pennsylvania Game Commission’s Northwest Region, today announced a new initiative to honor military veteran hunters with disabilities.

\”We are proud to offer qualified veterans with disabilities the opportunity to hunt geese from a blind in the Pymatuning Wildlife Management Area located in Crawford County,\” Harbaugh said.

The hunt will be held on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015. This is outside of the established shooting days for the Pymatuning Wildlife Management Area. This special opportunity will be limited to 40 successful applicants. Hunters may bring an individual to assist, if needed; but hunting will be limited to the lucky 40 hunters selected.

Yesterday I traveled to Laredo, Texas to visit the border and meet with local law enforcement officials. We discussed the need for stronger border security and the importance of continuing the national discussion on this issue. Strengthening our border will most benefit legal immigrants and working class Americans. Continuing to allow illegal immigrants to cross a weak border is hurting America’s economy. 

While the Agriculture Secretary is tasked with representing the interests of all of taxpayers, at times Secretary Vilsack seems to have never left Iowa. He regularly attends ethanol trade conferences and is one of the industry’s most vocal supporters.

 (New York, N.Y. – July 23, 2015) Brick Township received the first-ever U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 2 Excellence in Site Reuse Award today for its use of 24,000 solar panels at a Superfund Site. 

The award was given to recognize Brick Township’s reuse of a former landfill site to create a solar panel array that supplies electricity to the township’s government buildings and community parks. The installation of solar panels began in June 2013 and the solar array became operational in 2014. It generates about 7,400 megawatt-hours of energy per year.
