On July 14, 2015. Age 79. (nee Rusk) Of Gloucester City. Wife of the late John J. \”Schocky\” Nonamaker. Loving mother of Bonnie Koverchick, Anita Lee (Rick), Donna, John Jr. and Daniel. Cherished grandmother of 7 and great grandmother of 6. Also survived by 1 sister and 4 brothers. 

 Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday evening, July 21, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM and again on Wednesday morning, July 22, 2015 from 10 to 11 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Service 11 AM. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation, Inc., 7008 Little River Turnpike, PO Box 49, Annandale, VA 22003. In the memo, please write: Bernice V. Nonamaker.

One trip wasn\’t enough for the stars of \”American Pickers,\” who are returning to the Garden State to find treasure in garages, barns and basements. While the eponymous pickers — Mike Wolfe and Frank Fitz — are planning their trip, local residents with interesting collections are asked to reach out and possibly be a pit stop.

Five years ago, nearly a dozen former soldiers who served during the Bosnian civil war in the early ‘90s before settling in Arizona were sentenced for lying on their applications for refugee status when they came to the U.S. Last year, a Bosnian-born Minnesota man was arrested on fraud charges for not disclosing crimes—including murder, kidnapping, and robbery—he allegedly committed during his military service in Bosnia-Herzegovina. In January, a Bosnian-born Vermont man was found guilty of lying to get into the U.S. and obtain his naturalized citizenship.

CNB CRIME: Atlantic City Man Arrested for the Murder of Justin Turay

ATLANTIC CITY – A 47-year-old Atlantic City man has been arrested for yesterday’s killing of Justin Turay, 23, of Sicklerville, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.

Timothy T. Knight, 47, of the 100 block of Tennessee Avenue, Atlantic City, was charged yesterday at the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office with aggravated manslaughter and possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose in the stabbing death of Justin Turay yesterday morning. The State alleges that Knight stabbed Turay about the body multiple times with a knife, resulting in Turay’s death.
