BALTIMORE, MD—U.S. District Judge J. Frederick Motz sentenced former correctional officer Ashley Newton, age 31, of Baltimore, today to 51 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release, for participating in a racketeering conspiracy and drug conspiracy, involving the smuggling of drugs and contraband inside the Baltimore City Detention Center (BCDC), and for money laundering conspiracy. Newton was convicted on February 5, 2015, after a more than two month long jury trial.

They also sell a variety of other shoe related products. In addition, they also repair many other things, including even grass bags on mowers. They sewed the lining in a piece of luggage for me. The small loop on my leather watchband came off. They took care of that too. Their prices for these small repairs were very reasonable. They did both these things while I waited.

Marianna J. Emanuele, age 73, of Camden, NJ passed away on June 16, 2015. She is survived by sisters, Angela of Philadelphia, PA, Loretta of Western PA; brothers, John of Camden, NJ and Joe of Florida.

Marianna was a former member of the Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, a volunteer missionary in Kenya and later in the United States as an activist for the Camden community.
