Baring It All: Pennsylvania Lawmakers want a Registry for Strippers
STRIPPER REGISTRY: A Pennsylvania lawmaker has introduced a bill that would increase regulation over adult-oriented clubs, including a registry of strippers.

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania – Don’t tell his wife, but Big Brother is headed to the strip club.
More than 60 state lawmakers are sponsoring a bill that would increase regulation over adult-oriented clubs, including a registry of strippers, banning alcohol and even creating a buffer zone between dancers and patrons that appears to effectively prohibit lap dances.
The main sponsor of the legislation, state Rep. Matthew Baker, R-Tioga, said he introduced the bill at the request of faith-based groups, and his intent is \”to help combat sex trafficking, abuse and exploitation of women.\”

Reminder for the week: Observe safety precautions when towing water skiers
DOVER (June 26, 2015) – To achieve public compliance through education and enforcement actions that help conserve Delaware’s fish and wildlife resources and ensure safe boating and public safety, DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police officers between June 15-21 made 2,327 contacts with anglers, boaters and the general public, including 254 vessel boardings for boating safety and fishing regulation compliance checks. Officers responded to 64 complaints and issued 44 citations. This week, with an expanded Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police presence continuing to be deployed as a deterrent, no citations were issued at the C&D Canal Conservation Area and associated recreational trail.

Demarcus Drew Sentenced to Prison for 24 Years for Murder of Camden Resident
Today Judge Kelley sentenced defendant Demarcus Drew to 24 years NJ state prison, Drew will have to complete 15 years without parole, for the homicide of victim Marvin Simpson at the intersection of Rose and Whitman Sts., Camden, on November 4, 2011. Drew shot Simpson 5 times killing him.
Drew was found guilty by a jury on May 6, 2015 of Passion/Provocation Manslaughter and several Handgun Offenses.
Assistant Prosecutor Peter Crawford tried the case.
Case Detectives are Detective Miguel Rubert, Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Lt. Jeff Frampton, Camden County Metro Police Department.
