CBP Arrests King of Prussia Man Wanted for Assault with Deadly Weapon | U.S. Customs and Border Protection

$\"User33450-1420863618-media1_9e9069_240_179_PrsMe_\"$ PHILADELPHIA – U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers arrested a King of Prussia, Pa., man at Philadelphia International Airport Wednesday on an arrest warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

CBP officers arrested Richard Warrick, 40, after he arrived on a flight from Jamaica. Warrick was wanted in Philadelphia on the assault charge, and in Camden, N.J., for possession with intent to distribute marijuana/hashish.

CBP officers confirmed the warrants and turned Warrick over to Philadelphia Police officers.

Judge Increases Bail to $750K for Glassboro Resident Charged with Assault-Attempted Murder

WOODBURY NJ June 19, 2015–After hearing from an assistant Gloucester County prosecutor that a Glassboro woman may not survive the beating she suffered on 6/13/15, allegedly by her husband, a Superior Court judge today (6/19) raised bail for Byron Jenkins (DOB 7/30/69) from $500,000 to $750,000 on an aggravated assault and a subsequent attempted murder charge.

The victim is on life support, is in a coma and has had a portion of her skull removed, said Assistant Gloucester County Prosecutor Dana Anton.

CNB Crime: Your Help is Needed (Watch)

CAMDEN CITY NJ June 20, 2015–The Camden County Police Department is asking for help from the public to identify a suspect caught on video during a strong-arm robbery.

Officers responded to the Family Dollar store at 323 Marlton Pike on April 24 after a suspect put merchandise into his jacket without paying then shoved a store employee while exiting the store at approximately 8:39 p.m. The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5’8\”, wearing a blue and gold Notre Dame hooded jacket, a blue outer jacket, blue jeans, a black wave cap and white sneakers. The suspect can be seen in video posted on the Camden County Police Department Facebook page and at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=csVLA3vFUnU&feature=youtu.be

Dog grooming business accused of paralyzing 6-year-old terrier

According to the SPCA Humane Police, hours after Ozzie was taken for his grooming appointment on the morning of May 13, the groomer called the owner to say the dog was all set to go home.

After Ozzie\’s owner gave the groomer a check for the grooming, the staff carried Ozzie out to the car, police said. When the owner asked why they were carrying him, the staff reportedly told the owner that Ozzie had \”injured his back or broke his leg.\”

OFFICER DOWN: Police Officer Daryle Holloway, New Orleans Police Department, Louisiana

$\"Police-officer-daryle-holloway\"$ NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA JUNE 20, 2015–Police Officer Daryle Holloway, age 46, was shot and killed while transporting a prisoner to the Central Lockup at approximately 8:00 am.

The prisoner had been arrested for aggravated assault earlier during the previous shift. He had been handcuffed behind his back but managed to maneuver his arms to the front of his body. He then crawled through the vehicle\’s partition and began struggling with Officer Holloway. Officer Holloway was shot during the ensuing struggle, causing his vehicle to crash into a utility pole near the intersection of North Claiborne Avenue and Elysian Fields Avenue.

The subject fled on foot after the vehicle crashed and remains at large.

Officer Holloway had served with the New Orleans Police Department for 22 years and was assigned to the 5th District.

Op-Ed: Public Records Act must be fortified

Remember the revelation behind the horrific death of Kenwin Garcia at the hands of a State Police trooper, or the lion\’s share of Bridgegate evidence? Those became public because of OPRA requests.

That\’s why we applaud the legislature\’s latest attempt to fortify OPRA, which gives all citizens the right to gain access to public documents; and the Open Public Meetings Act, which requires governmental organizations to announce meetings and provide access to them.
