About a month ago, I was working in full uniform in a marked police vehicle when I was pulled over to the side of the road in our downtown area. I watched two young African-American teenagers, each one probably around 18 years old, walking across the street right in front of me. Both couldn’t take their eyes off me. They both stared at me with what appeared to be anger and disgust.

New licenses are effective July 1, and are valid through June 30, 2016. All license fees remain unchanged.
 

 TRENTON –With the summer boating and tourism season kicking into high gear, the Department of Environmental Protection is reminding boaters to use caution while navigating ecologically sensitive areas of Barnegat Bay.

The reduction of impacts from boats and personal watercraft within Barnegat Bay’s critical ecosystems, including wetlands, aquatic vegetation, shellfish and fish habitats, is part of the Christie Administration’s comprehensive plan to protect and restore the bay.
