Democrats say overhauling election law is \’the right thing\’

The Democrats — Weinberg, Senate President Stephen Sweeney (D-Glocuester), Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto (D-Hudson) and Assembly Majority Leader Lou Greenwald (D-Camden) — on Monday unveiled their plans for the massive bill, which is made up of about a dozen measures aimed at increasing voter participation and revamping New Jersey\’s conflicting U.S. Senate succession statutes.

Armed Robbery and Carjacking in Haddonfield

HADDONFIELD NJ JUNE 16, 2015–Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Haddonfield Police Department are seeking a man who committed an armed robbery and a carjacking in Haddonfield today.

The robber entered the Rite Aid on the 700 block of Haddon Avenue around 12:10 p.m. He jumped over the pharmacy counter, displayed a firearm and demanded Adderall and oxycodone.

The suspect received an undisclosed quantity of Adderall pill bottles and ran into the parking lot, where he carjacked a priest. The robber drove the priest’s car about a block then exited the vehicle and fled on foot. No injuries were reported.

On June 11, 2015. Age 69. Of Runnemede. (nee Gant) Loving mother of Mary L. Friedel (John), George J. Endres, Christopher M. Endres (Joanne) and Jamie L. Endres. Cherished grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 3. Survived by her 5 siblings and predeceased by 4 siblings. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, her beloved Zeus and Bubba and her Pals at Canal’s. (Is it 5:00 yet?)

Maryann worked over 30 years at Canal’s Liquors in Pennsauken. 

 Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Wednesday evening, June 17th, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Service 8 PM in the funeral home. Interment private.

Superior Court Appellate Panel Rules Against Paulsboro Man | CNBNews

 

WOODBURY NJ June 15, 2015 (CNBNews.net)–Mentioning a man’s arrest warrant during his trial on charges of resisting arrest and possession of PCP in Paulsboro NJ does not overturn his 2012 conviction, a Superior Court appellate panel ruled today .

 Considering his record and the circumstances of his arrest, the five-year prison sentence imposed on Anthony Fowlkes (DOB 7/20/60), homeless, was appropriate, the court ruled in the same appellate decision.

Surrounded by his family, on June 14, 2015. Age 31. Of Gloucester City. Beloved and cherished son of Ginny Gramley and David Gramley, Sr. Loving brother of David Gramley, Jr. and Jeremie Gramley. Loving grandson of Mom Mom Gramley. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins and his beloved dog, Bella. Kevin was a graduate of Gloucester H.S.
