WOODBURY NJ –Duane N. Johns (DOB 11/30/86), of Paulsboro, was found guilty in a jury trial today (6/4) of third-degree possessing marijuana with intent to distribute when police and the Gloucester County SWAT team entered a West Jefferson Street home in Paulsboro on 4/4/14.
Johns, who did not live in the 110 Jefferson residence, was found in a bathroom with a woman, Turquoise M. Paige (DOB 5/27/89), of Paulsboro. Five other people also were in the house. In the toilet of the bathroom where Johns was located were plastic bags of suspected marijuana. Also in the bathroom was a cloth Crown Royal bag containing 17 glass vials of suspected marijuana. Additional bags of marijuana were found in a sewer trap leading from the house. More than 100 unused plastic bags similar to those in the toilet were found on a dining room table. Cash totaling $558 also was seized.
