Serious Traffic Accident in Winslow Township

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP NJ–Winslow Township Police responded to a serious Motor Vehicle crash in the 100 block of Cedar Brook Rd at 8AM today, June 1.

A Hyundai exiting a residential driveway collided with a SUV. As a result of the collision, the SUV rolled over on top of an Mazda. Two children (ages 6 and 8) in the Mazda were transported to Cooper Hospital (1 child by helicopter) for injuries sustained.

Hasan Bruce, 22, of Atlantic City, Sentenced to 24 years in Prison for Murder of Zachary Tayor

\"Images\"MAYS LANDING May 29, 2015 – An Atlantic City man was sentenced today to 24 years in prison in connection with the 2012 shooting death of a 19-year-old Mays Landing man, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced today.

This morning, Friday, May 29, 2015, Atlantic County Superior Court Judge Albert J. Garofolo sentenced Hasan Bruce, 22, of the 600 block of North Indiana Avenue, Atlantic City, to 24 years of incarceration for shooting and killing Zachary Taylor, 19, of Mimosa Court, Mays Landing, on June 18, 2012 at the intersection of Michigan and McKinley Avenues in Atlantic City.

On June 18, 2012, Zackary Taylor was discovered on the 2000 block of McKinley Avenue in Atlantic City, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus, where he later died of his wounds.

When a judge told the Bergen Dispatch to remove an article from its website late last week, the hyperlocal came out swinging, reminding its readers and the court system that Bergen County, and New Jersey, were still covered by the First Amendment. The story was picked up by Boing-Boing and Superior Court Judge Jane Gallina-Mecca later reversed her decision.
