Over the last few days we have heard on the news about the outbreak of the Swine Flu. Already over 44 cases have been reported in New York City and many states have declared emergencies. In addition there have also has been one death reported in the United States from the outbreak. Also this evening, according to CBS Eyewitness News two people in Vineland, Cumberland County NJ were tested for Swine Flu.

Around 4:00 p.m. this afternoon the World Health Organization elevated the threat level to 5 on a scale of 1-6. According to CNN at least 74 elementary, junior high and high schools have closed across the country due to confirmed or probable cases of swine flu, the Department of Education said Wednesday. In addition 30 schools have closed as a precautionary measure, Department of Education spokesman Massie Ritsch said. Additionally the Federal government is releasing medication to every state in the country.

the president of the United States and that it has happened twice
already. Investigation into the Leader v. Facebook Washington judicial
corruption scandal has uncovered a scheme to manipulate U.S. elections.
This scheme appears to have already influenced the 2008 and 2012
elections unduly. Political opponents of candidates favored by
Facebook\’s key management, shareholders, attorneys and advertisers (the
Facebook Club) are not given equal time and access.[02] Electioneering
on Facebook is unregulated and unaudited. It is under the complete
control of private parties who exhibit a greater than 9 to 1 bias for
Democratic candidates. The heavy reliance on unregulated social media
in electioneering has destroyed the sacrosanct principle of \”free and
fair elections.\” Facebook\’s programmers (self-described \”hackers\”)
control ALL data and access to that data. This includes the U.S.
electioneering data for both political parties.

Joann M. Hoke, of Haddon Township, Teacher at Oaklyn Public Schools and St. Rose of Lima

Joann M. Hoke (nee Kowal), on February 19, 2015 of Haddon Township, age 70. Joann was $\"2973729_wlpp\"$ born in Camden, New Jersey to the late Mitchell and Elma Kowal. She dedicated the majority of her adult life to teaching fifth grade students in the Oaklyn Public Schools and St. Rose of Lima in Haddon Heights. As a teacher, Joann encouraged her students to strive for excellence and challenge themselves beyond their expectations. No one was more determined to impart love, generosity, good will and knowledge upon her family, friends and students than Joann, who passed away after a long illness.

JUDGE WONT GRANT LOWER BAIL FOR ALLEGED DEPTFORD CHILD SEX OFFENDER

WOODBURY NJ–Citing his concern that deportation might precede prosecution, a Superior Court judge today (2/20) denied any further reduction in the bail of Carlos Calderon (DOB 10/16/83), of Deptford NJ, charged with sexually assaulting a girl under age 13 in Deptford on at least two dates in 2014.

Judge Kevin T. Smith said the \”strong likelihood of deportation, even without conviction,\” convinced him to leave Calderon’s bail at $300,000, which had been reduced by court order from $800,000 at the time of his arrest on 2/11/15.

CNB HUNTING/FISHING DELAWARE: Hearing on Striped Bass Harvest Tonight

Division of Fish & Wildlife to hold Feb. 23 public hearing

on options to reduce recreational striped bass harvest

All Atlantic states required to reduce harvest by 25 percent

DOVER (Feb. 23, 2015) – DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife will hold a public hearing at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23 on Delaware’s proposed options to reduce the recreational striped bass harvest by 25 percent as required by the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission (ASMFC). The hearing will be held in DNREC’s auditorium in the Richardson & Robbins Building, 89 Kings Highway, Dover, DE 19901.

Delaware must comply with the ASMFC’s changes to the Atlantic Striped Bass Fisheries Management Plan as approved in October 2014. While the striped bass stock is not currently overfished, the ASFMC requires a 25 percent reduction in fishing mortality in 2015 to avoid overfishing the declining spawning stock in the coming years.

Reminder for the week: Anglers need fishing license, trout stamp, FIN number for trout season

DOVER (Feb. 20, 2015) – To achieve public compliance through education and enforcement actions that help conserve Delaware’s fish and wildlife resources and ensure safe boating and public safety, DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife Enforcement Natural Resources Police officers between Feb. 9-15 made 670 contacts with anglers, hunters, boaters and the general public, including 10 vessel boardings for boating safety and fishing regulation compliance checks. Agents responded to 27 complaints and issued 14 citations, two of which were related to the C&D Canal Conservation Area and associated recreational trail, where there is an increased Fish & Wildlife Enforcement presence.

State Says 70-Year-Old Flower Shop Owner Discriminated Against Gay Couple

A judge in Washington state ruled this week that a 70-year-old florist who declined to make flower arrangements for a gay couple’s wedding violated the state’s anti-discrimination and consumer protection laws.

In a phone interview with The Daily Signal, Barronelle Stutzman said the decision—and its accompanying fines—will put her flower shop out of business, or worse.

After the fines and legal fees, \”There won’t be anything left,\” Stutzman said.

\”They want my home, they want my business, they want my personal finances as an example for other people to be quiet.\”

Stutzman owns Arlene’s Flowers, which is a small flower shop in Richland, Wash. She has been in the industry for over 40 years, for the most part serving customers regardless of their sexual orientation.

But in March 2013, when Robert Ingersoll asked Stutzman to design floral arrangements for his same-sex wedding to Curt Freed, she declined, citing her Christian faith.
