Mr. Richard W. \”Rick\” Crawford of Deptford, Retired DCMA Employee, Gateway HS Alumnus

Richard Wayne Crawford, \”Rick\”, aged 61 years of Deptford, passed away suddenly on January 8, 2015 $\"\"$

Born to Edward and Violet Crawford; Rick was the fourth of six children. He graduated from Gateway High School and shortly thereafter joined the United States Army. Rick served two years and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and Sharpshooter M16 Medal.

Following his service time; Rick began his civilian career with the Department of Defense initially with the Naval Shipyard and then more recently with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) in Philadelphia where he retired after 33 years of service.

Away from his work, Rick enjoyed living life to the fullest; creating fantastic memories with his family and being the happy go lucky guy with the great sense of humor that his family will cherish as his legacy. He enjoyed golfing and fishing among his hobbies and Rick was also an avid Football and Baseball fan who cheered on his beloved Eagles and Phillies through the good years and bad.

TRENTON (JANUARY 9, 2015) – Acting Attorney General John J. Hoffman announced that a Camden County $\"Joshua-ferreri-sm\"$ man was sentenced to prison today for offering child pornography on the Internet. He was among 27 defendants arrested in 2012 as a result of \”Operation Watchdog,\” a multi-agency investigation led by the New Jersey State Police and the Division of Criminal Justice that targeted offenders who distributed known images and videos of child pornography on the Internet.Joshua B. Ferreri, 28, of West Berlin, N.J., was sentenced to three years in state prison by Superior Court Judge John T. Kelley in Camden County. He pleaded guilty on Oct. 1, 2014 to an accusation charging him with second-degree offering of child pornography. He will be required to register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law. Deputy Attorney General Anand Shah prosecuted Ferreri and handled the sentencing for the Division of Criminal Justice Financial & Computer Crimes Bureau.

GLOUCESTER TWP. MAN SENTENCED TO PRISON FOR MOLESTING TEENAGE GIRL WHILE SHE SLEPT

TRENTON – Acting Attorney General John J. Hoffman announced that a South Jersey man was sentenced to state prison today for molesting a teenage girl while she slept and distributing child pornography on the Internet. The charges stemmed from a child pornography investigation by the New Jersey State Police and the Division of Criminal Justice.Bernard Cahill, 55, of Gloucester Township (formerly of Folsom), was sentenced today to 14 years in state prison by Superior Court Judge Bernard E. DeLury Jr. in Atlantic County. Cahill pleaded guilty on Aug. 12 to second-degree charges of sexual assault and distribution of child pornography. He was sentenced to seven years in prison for each of the two charges, with the sentences to be served consecutively. Cahill will be required to register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law and will be subject to parole supervision for life. In pleading guilty, Cahill admitted that he penetrated the 16-year-old victim sexually with his fingers while she slept.

TRENTON – Acting Attorney General John J. Hoffman announced that two men were sentenced to state prison today in connection with the seizure by the New Jersey State Police of 21 kilograms of cocaine from a Winnebago recreational vehicle in Jersey City in February 2013. Paulsboro Man Arrested for Failing to Appear in Court

GLOUCESTER COUNTY NJ (January 12, 2015)Jerome Worthy (DOB 2/13/83), of Paulsboro NJ, was arrested Friday (1/9/15) at a Paulsboro apartment complex on a warrant for failing to appear in court on narcotics charges and possession of a weapon while committing a drug crime.

A detective with the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Fugitive Investigations Unit and Paulsboro police officers took Worthy into custody without incident in a vehicle in the parking area of the Cedar Knoll Apartments. He was turned over to the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office.

Worthy’s charges stem from a 4/3/14 arrest in West Deptford NJ in which he and a codefendant were arrested. He was scheduled for a status conference 12/8/14 but failed to appear and a bench warrant was issued for him.
