Insurance Adjuster Sentenced to 32 Months in Prison for Defrauding NJTA, Insurance Companies, of $900,000

NEWARK, NJ (January 9, 2015)–—The owner of a New Jersey-based insurance adjusting $\"Gloucester$ company was sentenced today to 32 months in prison for his role in a scheme to defraud the N.J. Turnpike Authority (NJTA) and various insurance companies of at least $900,000, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.

Robert Napolitano, 55, of Clifton, New Jersey, owner of Dawn to Dusk LLC, previously pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Kevin McNulty to an information charging him with using the mail to facilitate a scheme to defraud the NJTA and insurance companies through false and fraudulent pretenses, representations and promises. Judge McNulty imposed the sentence today in Newark federal court.

On January 7, 2015, (nee Girgenti) of Gloucester City, NJ, passed away surrounded by her family, at the age 54. She is the beloved wife of James E. Thompson, loving mother of Sammuel, Erinn(Daniel Marks), Alysha, Kelly, and Jason (Rebecca) and cherished grandmother Kayla, Peyton, Corrin and Amaya. She is the dear sister of Thomas and William Girgenti, Albert Profico, Robert Girgenti, Stacey Geserick and Jennifer Girgenti and is also survived by many dear nieces and nephews.

Theresa was very active with South Jersey Storm Competitive Cheerleading Squad and also with Gloucester Mustang Football Cheerleading. She loved being at the shore and wearing her flip flops.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and again Monday from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ.
