Mrs. Helen Gallagher, Longtime Runnemede Resident, Runnemede Senior Citizens Member, and Church of St. Maria Goretti Parishioner

At the age of 106, Mrs. Helen Gallagher passed peacefully on December 20, 2014 in Texas, near her close family. She was born on \"\"February 13, 1908 in Philadelphia, and lived in Runnemede, NJ for more than 80 years. 

After growing up in Philadelphia, Helen lived briefly in Blackwood, NJ, working in the Webber Hosiery Mill. Later, Helen met John E. Gallagher and they married in 1928. After a few years, they bought a home on 1st Avenue in Runnemede, and Mrs. Gallagher lived in this same home until 2013. In 1933, their son William J. Gallagher, was born at home.

MAYS LANDING – An Atlantic City man was indicted for murder today for the fatal shooting of a man found dead inside his Atlantic City home in 2011, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.
