Mrs. Margaret Anne Haggerty (nee Cullen), formerly of Gloucester City, Gloucester Catholic Alumnus, Waterford Township Librarian

On December 3, 2014, Margaret Anne Haggerty (nee Cullen), age 72, of Haddon \"6a00d8341bf7d953ef0192ac4fe308970d-200wi\"Heights, formerly of Haddonfield, passed away. Born and raised in Gloucester City, Marge graduated from St. Mary\’s Grammar School and Gloucester Catholic High School where she was a member of the Belles of St. Mary\’s. She then went on to receive her bachelor\’s degree from Glassboro State College and began working as a librarian at Washington Township High School until her children were born. While raising her children, she returned to work as a librarian at the Law Offices of Fahr, Burke, Gambacorta, and Wright in Bellmawr and then as a librarian at the Waterford Township Public Library from where she retired. An avid sports fan, Marge loved the Phillies. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.

Marge is survived by her devoted husband David L. Haggerty; her loving children, Megan (Teddy) Lawler, Christy (Ed) Bray and David (Susan) Haggerty; her beloved grandchildren, Jack Lawler, Sarah Bray, Ben Lawler, Corinne Bray, Charles Haggerty, Liam Bray, George Haggerty, Theo Haggerty and Ruthie Haggerty; her dear sisters, Mary Patricia \”Trish\” (Robert) Powell and Joanne Cullen as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Monday evening from 6:30 – 9:00 PM and again Tuesday morning from 9:45 – 10:45 AM at St. Vincent Pallotti Church (St. Joseph the Worker Parish), 901 Hopkins Road, Haddon Township where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM.

Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Project HOME 1515 Fairmount Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19130

Age 81. Of Pennsauken.

 Surrounded by her loving family, on December 5, 2014. (nee Cabrera) Age 81. Of Pennsauken. Survived by her children, Noemy, Rolando, Kelvin and Brenda Ortiz; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren with 1 on the way. 

Born in Lares, Puerto Rico, Carmen was one of 9 children to the late Santos Cabrera and the late Margarita Torres. 

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday evening, December 11, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Catholic funeral service 8 PM in the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
