NEW YORK, Nov. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — In honor of Veterans Day and in celebration of Military Hero Dogs, today American Humane Association, the U.S. War Dogs Association, and New Jersey\’s Red Bank Veterinary Hospital announced they will be providing free specialty veterinary care to all retiring military working dogs and contract working dogs. Haddon Heights PD Arrest Woman for Armed Robbery

$\"6a00d8341bf7d953ef0133f4d24407970b-800wi\"$ HADDON HEIGHTS NJ (November 13,2014)–Officers arrested a Haddon Heights woman Tuesday in connection with an afternoon armed robbery at a local shop, according to borough police.

Jessica Pacana, 26, of Haddon Heights, was charged with robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon and other charges in the alleged incident at the Black Horse Pike New Agency at 1 p.m. Nov. 11, according to police.

Officers responded to reports of a female suspect entering the store and demanding money while brandishing a weapon, say police. The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle.

Officers from Haddon Heights, Audubon, Barrington, Haddon Township, Mount Ephraim and Runnemede swept the area of the incident and stopped the suspected vehicle and arrested Pacana who matched descriptions provided, police say.

Pacana was placed in Camden County Correctional Facility, according to police, who did not report her bail status.

PENNSYLVANIA–ecent years have been some of the best on record for Pennsylvania bear hunting, and one expert says there’s potential for that trend to continue.
The annual statewide bear seasons again are about to kick off.
Leading the way is the statewide archery bear season, which opens Monday, Nov. 17. And after that five-day season comes to a close on Nov. 21, properly licensed hunters who still are in pursuit of a bear can participate in the four-day general season that opens Saturday, Nov. 22, then runs from Monday, Nov. 24 to Wednesday, Nov. 26.
