George P. Frank, age 65, of Mt. Ephraim, NJ, on November 9, 2014 after a longtime battle.
George will be remembered as a strong willed and hardworking man who dedicated everything to his family. He proudly served the US Army during the Vietnam War, devoted over 30 years to the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs mainly at Ft. Dix as a mechanic and was a member of the American Legion Post 72 of Brooklawn, National Guard of Cherry Hill and Woodbury, and as a volunteer firefighter for Presidential Lakes and Mt. Ephraim. He also cheered on the Eagles, Phillies, and all the best NASCAR drivers.
Beloved husband of 43 years to Darlene E. (née Watson); Devoted father of Lisa (Paul Taylor); Loving grandfather of Brittany and Alyssa; Cherished brother to Doug (Sharon); Adored uncle to Chelsea; George also leaves behind his best friend, Ann-R-Key, his devoted Rottweiler, and the late Dalai who left us the same day.

PSEG Essex Solar Energy Center Goes Into Service
NEWARK, N.J., Nov. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — PSEG Solar Source today announced that completion of the PSEG Essex Solar Energy Center. The facility is located roughly four miles northeast of Burlington, Vermont, and has a capacity of 3.6 MW-dc. The solar farm was developed and constructed by juwi solar Inc. (JSI). It has a 25-year power purchase agreement with Vermont Electric Power Producers, Inc. (VEPP), as part of the Vermont Sustainably Priced Energy Enterprise Development (SPEED) program.
The Essex facility is PSEG Solar Source\’s ninth installation in seven states including Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, New Jersey and Ohio. A tenth project is under construction in Texas; when it is completed PSEG Solar Source\’s portfolio will be 110 MW-dc.
\”PSEG is pleased to announce this latest addition to our utility scale solar fleet and are working diligently to continue to grow the business with great partners like JSI,\” said Diana Drysdale, president of PSEG Solar Source.
JSI was the project\’s engineering, procurement and construction contractor. It will operate the facility for PSEG Solar Source. The facility will feature approximately 12,000 solar photovoltaic panels on a fixed-tilt racking system.

Mixed levels of concern over ability to retire
A seven-year trend showing that half of New Jersey residents would like to leave the state remains unbroken in the latest Monmouth University/Asbury Park Press Poll. Taxes and cost of living are the driving factor, with one third of residents saying they are very concerned about their retirement savings.
Currently, 50% of New Jersey residents say they would like to move out of the state at some point compared to 45% who say they would like to remain in the Garden State for the rest of their lives. The number who want to move out is within range of prior polls taken over the past seven years. When asked to assess the probability that they will actually move, regardless of whether they want to, 26% of all residents say it is very likely and 32% say it is somewhat likely they will leave the state. Another 17% say it is not too likely and 23% say it is not at all likely.

Fish & Wildlife Enforcement investigating boat sinking in Indian River Inlet
DOVER (Nov. 12, 2014) – DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife Enforcement Natural Resources Police officers are investigating a boating accident which occurred Monday evening, Nov. 10 in the Indian River Inlet, in which a large sportfishing boat sank.
According to Cpl. John McDerby of Fish & Wildlife Enforcement, the 38-foot twin-engine diesel Topaz with two persons on board struck the Inlet’s north side jetty and sank between 6:45 and 7 p.m. The passenger was treated at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes for facial cuts and a broken nose. The vessel’s operator was not injured.
