Christopher T. Sauter, of Gloucester City, St. Mary\’s Cemetery Employee, GHS Alumnus

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM on Monday, November 9, at St. Mary\’s Church, Monmouth and Atlantic Streets for Christopher T. Sauter, of Gloucester City who died on November 6, 2014 at the age of 47. 

\"6a00d8341bf7d953ef01a3fcef1127970b-800wi\"Chris graduated from Gloucester High School class of 1986. He worked 14 years at New St. Mary’s Cemetery in Bellmawr. Chris enjoyed fishing, gardening and had a passion for classic rock. He loved his family and friends

Cherished son of Theresa J. Sauter (nee Mailley) and the late Robert J. Sauter, Sr. Beloved brother of Robert J. Sauter, Jr. (Linda) and James F. Sauter (late Tricia). Loving uncle of Gillian Sauter Kelly and Michael (Amy) Duffy. ;

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Sunday evening from 6 to 8 PM and again on Monday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. 

Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr where he worked and will be buried with his grandparents.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Church Special Fund 425 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City NJ 08030.

Two Cherry Hill Residents Charged with Producing Child Pornography

PHILADELPHIA – Burton Gersh, 68, and Les Sidweber, 73, both of Cherry Hill, NJ, were charged today by indictment with two counts each of production of child pornography, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger.

According to court documents, Gersh and Sidweber transported two minors, ages 16 and 17, from the Philadelphia area, on multiple occasions, to their homes in Cherry Hill, where Sidweber photographed the juveniles engaging in sexually explicit conduct at Gersh\’s behest.

Ex Philly Cop Christopher Saravello Charged with Extorting Drugs and Money from Drug Dealers

PHILADELPHIA – Christopher Saravello, 37, of Philadelphia, PA, was charged by indictment, unsealed today, in a scheme to extort drugs and money from drug dealers and drug buyers while working as a Philadelphia Police Officer, announced United States Attorney Zane David Memeger. He is charged with one count of conspiracy to commit Hobbs Act extortion and five counts of Hobbs Act extortion.

According to the indictment, between November 2011 and June 2012, while employed as a Philadelphia Police Officer assigned to the 6th District, Saravello conspired with others, known to the grand jury, to rob drug dealers and drug buyers of cash and Oxycontin and other controlled substances.

OCTOBER JOB NUMBERS UP, UNEMPLOYMENT DOWN
