Gloucester County Prosecutor Sean F. Dalton was selected and sworn in as president of the County Prosecutors Association of New Jersey at the association’s annual convention last weekend (10/19-20) Dalton succeeds Hunterton County Prosecutor Anthony P. Kearns III for a one-year term as association president.

Gloucester County’s prosecutor since 2002, Prosecutor Dalton will lead an association made up of the state’s 21 county prosecutors. The association works with Acting New Jersey Attorney General John Hoffman and Director of Criminal Justice Elie Honig. The organization focuses on enhancing the practices and procedures of the state’s prosecutor’s offices and law enforcement agencies. In addition, the association offers scholarships to students entering the fields of law and criminal justice.

Two Big Plays by Vince DiGiacomo Lead Lions to Win over Clippers

CLAYTON – The box score won’t say he starred in Friday night’s game at Clayton, but those who saw Gloucester’s Vince DiGiacomo play will beg to differ. The junior WR/DB had two big plays for the Lions – maybe the two biggest Friday night – setting up Gloucester for a 10-6 win against the Clippers.

Down 6-2 after Clayton took an intentional safety to end the third quarter, Gloucester found $\"6a00d8341bf7d953ef0133f4d24407970b-800wi\"$ itself with a 4th-and-7 just inside Clippers’ territory. DiGiacomo took the snap as the punter and broke down the right sideline, gaining 16 yards and garnering a 15-yard personal foul against Clayton in the process. The play setup Gloucester’s go-ahead score.

Clayton’s ensuing possession ended with another great play by DiGiacomo. Facing 4th-and-5 at their own 47 – the same line of scrimmage where DiGiacomo took off for his punt fake -Clayton elected to throw a deep pass down the left sideline. DiGiacomo jumped in front of the pass and returned it 40 yards back into Clayton territory, sealing the game.
