Initial reports stated that the pedestrian was stuck underneath the vehicle. Arriving officers found an elderly female trapped under a vehicle. Officers were able to raise the vehicle off of the victim using a vehicle jack and removed her from under the vehicle and began providing medical assistance to the victim. GTEMS and Paramedics from Virtua Hospital arrived on scene and took over medical treatment of the victim who was transported to Cooper hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Donald D. Segar (DOB 4/22/92), of Newtonville NJ was found guilty today (10/2) of choking his girlfriend in her Woodbury NJ apartment, firing shots into the Bell Lake Apartment unit\’s cieling and doing so in the presence of the girlfriend\’s year-old daughter on 2/17/13.

The guilty verdicts included a charge of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, which carries a mandatory five-year state prison sentence.

The reality for many families in the Garden state is the nearest grocery store might be miles away and the neighborhood corner store doesn’t carry healthy staples such as low-fat milk, whole grain bread or produce.
