NFL Great Harold Carmichael Visits with Gloucester Catholic Players! /cnbnews.net

Former Philadelphia Eagles\’ great Harold Carmichael, one of the NFL\’s top receiver during the 1970s and 1980s, visited Gloucester Catholic\’s football practice at Gloucester County College on Wednesday evening, September 10.

Mr. Carmichael delivered an inspirational speech to motivate our Ram players on the upcoming 2013 season.

Following his pro career with the Eagles, Mr. Carmichael served as an assistant coach at Gloucester Catholic for two seasons while his son Lee Carmichael played for the Rams in the 1990s. Mr. Carmichael currently works for the Eagles\’ organization as Director of Player Programs. He is considered the greatest receiver in Eagles\’ history following a 13-year career in which he finished sixth on the NFL\’s all-time career reception list.

The GC Football staff would like to thank Mr. Carmichael for coming out to speak with our Rams\’ players.

Man Arrested For Armed Robbery In Gloucester Township

press release September 12, 2013

 On Monday 9/9/2013 at approximately 12:46 PM, the Gloucester Township Police Department (GTPD) received a call reporting an armed robbery at the Friendly Food Mart located at 1119 North Blackhorse Pike. The store clerk reported that the suspect entered the store, displayed a knife, and told him to give him the money from the cash register or he would kill him. The clerk was able to activate the panic button and the suspect fled the store on foot.

GLOUCESTER CITY NJ–(September 13, 2013)Ben Boyer rushed for 156 yards on 33 carries and scored two first half touchdowns to lift Gloucester City to an 18-14 victory over Pitman yesterday in Gloucester.

Boyer had scoring runs of 40 yards and 1 yard for Gloucester City, which took the lead for good on a Justin McCleery 40-yard pass to Tony Bultron in the second quarter.

Marc Camma and Eric Larson each had touchdown runs for Pitman.
