Mrs. Alice Dick, Gloucester City Softball Coach, Sportsmen\’s AC Ladies Auxiliary Member

  

On August 30, 2013, (nee Megee), a lifelong resident of Gloucester City, NJ, age 68. She \"Images-3\" was the beloved wife, for 52 years, of Richard Dick, loving mother of Richard (Susan) and Alyson Dick, and dear sister of James Megee (Elaine). She is also survived by her loving grandchildren Timothy, Richard, Nathan, Adam (Ashley), Tabitha, Steven, Nicholas and Emma and great grandchildren Timothy, Andrew, Audrina and Aiden.

 

The loves of Alice’s life were her home, her grandchildren and the Casinos and also enjoyed bowling. She coached for GloucesterCity Softball for 12 years and was a member of the Sportmen’s AC Ladies Auxiliary. Alice’s family also wanted to mention and are very grateful to the Infusion Nurses at Cooper Medical Center, in Voorhees for the wonderful, loving care they gave Alice. 

 

Relatives and friends are invited to meet Thursday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. Alice’s Funeral Service will be held 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Eglington Cemetery,Clarksboro, NJ In lieu of flowers the family has requested Memorial Donation’s in Alice’s name be made to Living Beyond Breast Cancer, 354 W Lancaster Ave, Suite 224, Haverford, PA 19041 or at www.lbbc.org

Robert A. Merritt, Former Employee of the Kappa Board, Served in the NJ National Guard

(May 18, 1936 – August 30, 2013)

 

Robert A. Merritt \”Bob\” on August 30, 2013, of Glendora formerly of Barrington. Age 77.

Beloved husband of the late Margaret \”Peggie\”. Devoted father of Robert, Greg (Rose), Dawn Kayser (Gary), Susan Cross (Don), Gina Yatzus (Stephen) and Dana Yost (Bill). Dear brother of Jack and the late Elaine Coigne and Lucille Watson. Loving grandfather of Sara, Patrick, Lauren, Donny, Corie, Andrew, Colin, Jared, Mya, and Samantha. Dear son of the late Willis Merritt and Edna (nee Clark). Also survived by his beloved dog Daisy.

Bob was a former coach for Gloucester Township Stallions football team. He served in the New Jersey National Guard and was a former employee of the Kappa Board Inc, Bellmawr. Bob was a avid fishermen, Eagles fan, and enjoyed wood working and working with his hands.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Graveside Service, Saturday 12noon at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, 55 Delsea Drive, Sewell, NJ 08080.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Robert’s name to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
