Dallas Cowboys Owner and Former All SWC OL will be honored 

Oct. 3 at a star-studded event in Dallas.

 

IRVING, Texas (July 24, 2013) – The National Football Foundation (NFF) announced today that Jerry Jones, the owner, president and general manager of the Dallas Cowboys, has been named to the NFF Leadership Hall of Fame as a charter inductee. Jones will be honored Oct. 3 during an event at the Omni Dallas Hotel.

\”Jerry Jones has established himself as one of our nation’s top businessmen with a desire to win that is eclipsed by no one,\” said NFF Chairman Archie Manning. \”He honed his leadership skills early in life as an All-Southwest Conference player for Hall of Fame coach Frank Broyles on the 1964 national championship Razorback team, and he has built on those successes ever since. We are thrilled to have him as a charter NFF Leadership Hall of Fame inductee.\”

Irene J. Newman (nee Thomas), on July 24, 2013, a resident of Bellmawr for over 50 years. Age 76.

Beloved wife of the late Clifford. Devoted mother of Gary C. Newman (Jane E.), Michael S. Newman, Lynne M. Traczyk (Richard) and Gail P. Endres (Richard). Dear sister of Frank A. Thomas, Jr. and Joan Swift. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

There will be a viewing from 9 to 11am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral Service 11am at the funeral home.

Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
