James Edward Rink, \”Rinky\” , 70, of North Cape May, formerly of Brooklawn died on October 9 2012. He was born Sept. 30, 1942 and was a self employed contractor. He enjoyed fishing, sports and spending time with family.

He was predeceased by his mother, Sophia Rink (nee Sasse); his father, Earl Rink and step sons, Carl Lee and Jeffrey Valentine Brown. James is survived by his wife of 33 years; Frances Rink (nee Sauermilch); sisters Margaret (Anthony) Sessa and Elizabeth (Jack) Ackley; brothers; Earl Rink and Robert (Josephine) Rink. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces and nephews.

There was a memorial service on Saturday, October 13th, at Cape May Lutheran Church, 509 Pittsburgh Avenue, Cape May, NJ with the Rev. Dr. Jeffrey Elliott officiating. He is also survived by his brothers David Chorzelewski, David Kaponis and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

On September 19, 2012, (nee Boulware), a resident of Gloucester City, NJ since 1950. Age 92 yrs. Edna was the beloved wife of the late Peter \”Carl\” Van Gemert, loving mother of Elise Foster (Mark) of Gloucester, Beverly Bauers (Lou Randolph) of Woodbury Heights, Hendrik (Rick) Van Gemert (Wendy) of Mullica Hill, and the late Joan Donovan and the late Carl Van Gemert. Cherished grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 15.

Edna was a long time Certified Nurses Assistant at St. Mary\’s Nursing Home in Cherry Hill, and was a former member of Cloud Chapter OES in Gloucester. She loved traveling, gardening, doing crossword puzzles and reading.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet Monday from 10:00 to 11:00am at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. Funeral services will be held 11:00am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow Locustwood, Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. There will be no evening viewing.
