Flu Shot Program to Begin on October 2nd

 

This year’s vaccine is different than last year’s – Get protected and Get the Shot

 

(Woodbury, NJ) – Gloucester County Freeholder Director Robert M. Damminger and Freeholder Lyman Barnes announced today that Gloucester County has scheduled its influenza immunization clinics to keep residents healthy this flu season. Clinics are scheduled in every community, and many of them are in the afternoon and evening so busy families can take advantage of this program. There is no out-of-pocket cost for a flu shot from the county.

Philly311Mobile App Released

Philadelphia, September 13, 2012 –Mayor Michael A. Nutter announced the Philly311 Mobile App, which will put city government at citizens’ fingertips by allowing them to report issues and service requests 24 hours a day. The app, created in partnership with the software company, PublicStuff, is free to the public and compatible with iPhone, Android and Blackberry. Residents will now be able become more active citizens in their neighborhoods by sending in service requests for issues such as potholes, graffiti and litter to City departments in real time.
