There have been several rumors circulating in the City of Gloucester City the last couple of \"Images_2\"days. 

 

As for the gossip about a Gloucester City cop being arrested in North Wildwood in July, Gloucester City Police Chief George Berglund said an officer was cited for violating a township ordinance. \”The incident does not effect the performance of his duties. Our officers are held at a higher standard than most employees. The matter is being handled internally by our police department. There is no cover-up.\”

 

Repeated calls to the North Wildwood Police Department for more information on this incident were not returned.

Bellmawr Public Schools Ready For School Year

(Gloucester City News August 30)As finishing touches were continuing at all three Bellmawr public schools, the Board of Education meeting August 27 was quick, but informative.

Board Secretary Christopher Rodia commented on last-minute fine-tuning for a summer beautification project, along with a re-vamped flooring system at Bellmawr Park School, as well as its wildlife garden.
