Letters: CHEERS FOR MR. WILLIAM DILKS

The Gloucester City High School Lady Lions softball team and coaches would like to thank all of their fans for the support this year, especially Mr. William Dilks.

Mr. Dilks is a member of the Softball Hall of Fame for his dominating pitching abilities, and he has put together a softball yearbook for the past four years for the players and their parents.

This yearbook is made up of the current season newspaper articles, photos of players in action and team and individual accomplishments. And, this is not the only good deed Mr. Dilks has performed over the years.

He has given endless energy and financial support to the youth of Gloucester City.

Also, a big thanks to Brian Francis of Fort Nassau Printing for the color printed covers in the yearbook.

These yearbooks will provide lifelong memories for the players for years to come.

The yearbooks can be viewed in the Gloucester City Public Library and at the Historical Society.

Bellmawr Resident Would Like Council to Provide More Cost Information

Each time I have attended a Bellmawr Council Meeting this year, a breakdown is provided in how much is saved and within a given timeframe regarding the Public Works Department by Councilman Jim DeAngelo.

In my view, a breakdown of savings including overtime costs should be provided by other operating departments within the borough.
