Letters to the Ed: FED UP WITH DESPERADOS

Is it just me or is everyone in the City of Gloucester fed up with the two \”Desperados\” that terrorize our City week after week, month after month, I am referring to Mr. Tito Diaz, Jr. and his father Mr. Tito Diaz, Sr.

These two individuals need to spend some serious time in the County Jail for being a public nuisance. They drain the city resources by having the Police lock them up or our city’s ambulance service fix them up.

They are a menace to society! Please put them in jail!

Robert J. Hagan, Jr., Gloucester City

Bill Donahue: CATHOLIC VP vs. CATHOLIC VP

August 13, 2012

Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on the two Catholic vice presidential candidates:

In many respects, the Catholic community today is divided into pro-life and social justice camps. That is unfortunate, and while this division can be overstated, it remains true that most Catholic activists sit in either one camp or the other; cross-over Catholics are a rare breed.

American for Prosperity: Tell the Feds you Oppose Unnecessary Regulations

The Feds are doing all they can to put a stop to hydraulic fracturing on Federal and Indian lands.

We can’t let them take away this country’s golden opportunity for safe natural gas production. Natural gas and oil production opportunities around the country have increased dramatically with the innovation of hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling. One place that production has been stifled is Federal and Indian lands in the West.
