Approximately 267,273 Households in Need to Receive Additional Funds

 

TRENTON, N.J. – The Christie Administration today announced that approximately 267,273 households throughout New Jersey receiving home energy assistance through the federally-funded Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) will soon receive supplemental benefits.

John Paff: West Orange Board of Ed Charges $150 to Access Payroll Records

I recently learned that the West Orange Board of Education assesses records requestors a $150 special service charge for each payroll report requested under the Open Public Record Act (OPRA). According to a July 31, 2012 e-mail from ADP, the payroll vendor (available here:http://ogtf.lpcnj.org/2012/2012215ot//ExtractPage1.pdf ), the company apparently does charge the Board $150 for each report prepared.

Women for Kyrillos Coalition Launch Statewide Event

Edison, August 6… Today, as a growing number of women across New Jersey put their support behind Joe Kyrillos for U.S. Senate, the official Women for Kyrillos coalition launched statewide at an event in Edison. Women from around the state attended the rally led by Kathleen Donovan, Bergen County Executive. Donovan introduced members of the coalition leadership, including the statewide Chair, Christine Giordano Hanlon, a mother of four and prominent New Jersey attorney, and Senator Kyrillos’ wife, Susan Doctorian Kyrillos.

(CNBNEWS)This week Gloucester City residents are being asked for their approval rating of Mayor William James and his administration. James was first elected in 2006.

 

In 2010 the same question was asked. Out of 512 votes cast, 366 voted no, 74 voted yes, and 72 were undecided. Although the poll results showed that some people were dissatisfied with his adminsitration James still won a second-4 year term that November. 

 

Remember this is an unscientific poll, just for fun.
