Players to hold flag football clinic for Special Olympics athletes and coaches

 

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) football team will be holding a free flag football clinic for all registered Special Olympics New Jersey (SONJ) athletes and coaches on Friday, April 20 at 6:30 p.m. on the TD Sports Field at SONJ’s Sports Complex, 3 Princess Road, Lawrenceville.

Gloucester City School 2012-13 Budget Total $47,467,988

The Gloucester City Board of Education (BOE) unanimously approved a motion to accept the 2012-13 school budget as presented March 28.

Business Administrator Margaret McDonnell outlined the main points of the $47,467,988 budget, and said that approximately 275 pages of budget information will be submitted to the NJ Department of Education.

McDonnell noted the school district still faces challenges that reflect the \”current economic times in which we now live.\”

Those challenges include contractual salary increases, special education expenses and also rising health and insurance costs.

Magnolia Ambulance Involved In Two Vehicle Motor Vehicle Crash

SHARKS SIGN SIX INCLUDING RUTGERS ALUM JASON BERGMANN

 

Camden, NJ – The Riversharks have inked local Rutgers alumni and former Washington Nationals pitcher Jason Bergmann. Pitchers Mike Mehlich, Brian Corey and Jeff Farnsworth as well as infielder Marquez Smith and outfielder Steven Doetsch were also added to the ‘Sharks 2012 roster. 

\”After over four years in the Major Leagues, this will be Bergmann’s Independent League debut,\” said Manager Jeff Scott. \”Initially, we will use him out of the bullpen as our closer. We expect big things from him.\”

The first arriving Gloucester Township Police unit located heavy black colored smoke emmiting from Performance Motors Automotive repair shop at 1106 North Black Horse Pike in Blackwood NJ.
