PHILADELPHIA – Head coach Fritz Hamburg and the Saint Joseph\’s baseball coaching staff have announced the addition of seven student-athletes to the Saint Joseph\’s Class of 2016. John Brue, Joey Gorman, Matt Haskins, Jason Holcomb, Shane Marvel, Nate Shank, and Dallas Wilson will join the Hawks in the fall of 2012.

In addition to the main event, Citizens Bank Park hosted an alumni game featuring former stars of the Flyers and Rangers, including Flyer greats Bernie Parent, Dave Schultz, Eric Lindros and John LeClair. The Adirondack Phantoms also beat the Hershey Bears 4-3 as part of Classic festivities.

Thomas earned the status of Master Fabric Craftsman while being the owner and operator of Dockside Canvas. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and was a proud member of the Notre Dame Club of South Jersey. GO IRISH!! Tom graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School, Class of 1959.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 PM and again on Thursday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday 10 AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr. Help Control Aquatic Invasive Species
The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife is requesting anglers and boaters to do their part to halt the spread of aquatic invasive species have made their way into New Jersey waters. Plants like Eurasian water milfoil, hydrilla, didymo (rock snot) and water chestnut choke once thriving waterways. Invasive fish such as the snakehead, flathead catfish, and Asian swamp eel can outcompete other fish, including native species and prized recreational fish, for food and available habitat.

U. S. adults binge drink more frequently and consume more drinks when they do
More than 38 million U.S. adults binge drink an average of four times a month and the most drinks they consume on average is eight according to a new Vital Signs report form the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. While binge drinking is more common among young adults ages 18-34, of those age 65 and older who report binge drinking, they do so more often − an average of five to six times a month.
