OBITUARY: Doris Dot Meersand, of Cherry Hill, formerly of Gloucester City and Voohees

On November 11, 2011. Age 81. Of Cherry Hill. Formerly of Gloucester City and Voorhees. \”DOT\” MEERSAND WAS BORN JANUARY 12, 1930 IN TUCKERTON NJ, THE DAUGHTER OF THE LATE ARNOLD AND MARY CATHERINE ( Nee HURST) MEERSAND.

SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER PARENTS, ONE SISTER AND BROTHER-IN-LAW EILEEN (MEERSAND) AND TOMMY ROSELL, TWO BROTHERS, I.A. \”RED\” MEERSAND AND LOUIS LANE MEERSAND, ONE NEPHEW, CHRISTOPHER ROSELL AND ONE NIECE, SANDRA (ROSELL) SHARP. SHE WAS THE LAST OF HER GENERATION.

SHE IS SURVIVED BY SIX NIECES, SHARON (ROSELL) KLOTZ, DAWN (ROSELL) HAYDEN, LISA ROSELL, MICHELLE MEERSAND-EDMUND, DANIELLE MEERSAND PERMENTER, AND TRACY MEERSAND FRANK., AND SEVEN NEPHEWS, STEVEN ROSELL, GREG ROSELL, BRIAN ROSELL, BRETT ROSELL, JT \”TERRY\” MEERSAND, DAVID LANE MEERSAND, AND JEFFERY PAUL MEERSAND. SHE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY HER FORMER SISTERS-IN-LAW, JEAN (SMITH) MEERSAND AND BARBARA (PETERS) MEERSAND AUBER.

Dot lived in Gloucester City and worked for Bond Bread in Camden. She worked as a sales representative for AVON out of her home in Gloucester City. Dot truly loved AVON and helping other people.

Cremation and Services are private at the request of the family.

Catholic Rite of Committal and Burial will be private at the request of the family.
