Billions loaned to California energy projects in wake of Solyndra

The U.S. Department of Energy has moved ahead with $4.5 billion in new loans for clean energy projects in California – despite the recent bankruptcy of Silicon Valley-based Solyndra. The new loans all were approved last month during the final days of a federal program created with stimulus money. Reporter Dan Goldstein has the story.

WASHINGTON, Oct. 25, 2011 – About a hundred U.S. troops being deployed to Central Africa will be there for months — not years — and only until the national armies of the region are capable of dismantling the terrorist group known as the Lord\’s Resistance Army, a senior Pentagon official told Congress members today.

Say Incumbents are Violating Election Law, Running Campaign – like Municipal Government – mismanagement and excess spending

(EAST GREENWICH, NJ) – Republican challengers Tom Decker and Jim Philbin today called out their incumbent opponents Sam Giordano and Jim Watson for accepting in-kind contributions from an illegal front group, violating state election law, misleading and keeping the East Greenwich Voters in the dark.

Joann Young and Gene Mignogna who are running in the November 8 election for the Pennsauken Township Committee released the following statement today about the Killion-McBride Campaign violating the township\’s sign ordinance. Their statement reads as follows,

We have concerns with the Pennsauken Township Code Enforcement Department when dealing with the reigning 30 year political party and their abuse of local ordinances. We have documented three instances that the Killion-McBride Campaign Committee has violated with their signs and placement.
