AIKEN, SC (NJCUGothicKnights.com) | New Jersey City University head softball coach BRIDGETTE QUIMPO (Carteret, NJ), who completed her eighth season at the helm of the Gothic Knights this spring, was recently honored by the University of South Carolina Aiken with selection to that school\’s 2000-10 Softball All-Decade Team at catcher.
 
Selections were made by long-time USC Aiken head coach Jerry Snyder. The team features 15 student-athletes, including three pitchers and three designated players.

Borough’s high bond rating, conservative financial approach results in tremendous savings

(Avalon, NJ)—The Borough of Avalon will save in excess of $87,000 over the next three budgetary years thanks to the refinancing of a 2001 bond issuance. Avalon was able to refinance the bonds and save taxpayers’ money thanks in part to an exemplary AA+ bond rating that the Borough was recently awarded by Standard and Poor’s Rating Services, a division of the McGraw-Hill Companies, Inc.

21 Century Program Helping Students in Gloucester City High School-cnbnews.net

This is the program’s stated goal, preparing students for college.

This summer at Gloucester City High School, college classes are taking place – and they are being funded by a 21st Century grant from the state.
