When snow is on the way, in order to avoid being plowed in, please remove all cars and vehicles from the streets.
Park vehicles on your driveways so that the first person who will leave is the last one parked in the driveway.
Parking on the driveway will give you less snow to shovel and a drier surface when pulling out.
Don\’t forget to back vehicles in.
Looking out to the street from your house, when shoveling, pile the snow to the right of the driveway.
Pile snow behind the curb–not on the roadway. If you throw snow in front of the curb, this will contribute to your being plowed in.
PLEASE realize that plowing will always deposit some snow at the end of your driveway, because we need to plow to the curb to have effective drainage of melting snow.
