Rowan Boulevard’s Developer, Sora Holdings, Working With Mayor and Council To Upgrade Fire Department Equipment
Glassboro, NJ, November 9, 2010 —- The fire protection and safety of the Glassboro community will receive a major gift in early December, as Sora Holdings, the developer of the borough’s $300 million Rowan Boulevard downtown revitalization project, donates a new aerial ladder truck to the Glassboro Fire Department.
\”This is an excellent example of how a public-private partnership benefits the community. We have been discussing with Sora the need to upgrade our existing fleet of fire trucks, especially with the height of some of the new Rowan Boulevard buildings, and Sora’s generous donation enables us to do this at no expense to the taxpayers,\” said Glassboro Mayor Leo McCabe.
