Body found in Del. River may be missing mother

Maribel Gonzalez, 44, of the Richmond Hill section of Queens in New York City, fell into the water about 4:30 p.m. after trying to get from a disabled boat onto an inflatable raft. The body was recovered about 10:30 this morning by West Deptford\’s Verga Fire Department. Although the Coast Guard called off its search Monday morning, New Jersey State Police and local authorities continued to search the river, especially the area where the accident happened – near No Name Island, off the Gloucester County town of National Park,

Letters: Good Luck Linda, Enjoy Retirement

$\"6a00d8341bf7d953ef011570df48d6970c-800wi\"$ Good luck to Linda Ennis as she goes to Florida to enjoy a well-deserved retirement.

It was so nice to see the picture of Linda and her friend in your paper and to read the story about some of the fine things that Linda did over the years.

As the writer said, there were too many to list, but I would like to add some.

When I worked at our Gloucester City library, Linda was a leading volunteer. Nothing was too much trouble for her, and aside from answering every call for help with children’s programs, Linda often suggested things she could do to add to the fun.

She was always in attendance with her children, and added so much enthusiasm to our special events. And all of that was in addition to the city-wide events she assisted.

I’ll always remember Linda’s happy help, and wish her well as she moves on.

NJ BOW PERIMETER BILL ONE STEP CLOSER

Today (June 21,2010) the senate voted 25 (y)- 7 (n) – 8 (abstain) in support of the bow perimeter bill!
The assembly will now hear the bill on Thursday. If the bill passes the assembly it goes to Governor Christie for his consideration.

Contact your assemblypersons, ask them to support the bill. Together we can send the bow perimeter bill to the Governor!

Call and write your assemblypersons (there are 2 in each district)

2. Click on the tab for \”Select your Municipality\” then \”Find Representatives\”
3. Check the TWO (2) ASSEMBLY REPRESENTATIVES and then click on \”Select Representatives.\” (If you\’re not sure who to select, then select all three representatives.)

Gloucester Catholic baseball is Team of the Year – NJ.com

A high school baseball team isn\’t supposed to be able to overcome injuries and win a state $\"6a00d8341bf7d953ef0120a5e4a028970b-120wi\"$ championship with five sophomores regularly in the lineup, only one senior on the field most days and a freshman as the No. 2 pitcher and playoff closer unless that team is Gloucester Catholic.But those youngsters rose to the challenge and combined with the returning veterans to create a 24-7 squad that edged Washington Township and won the Grand Slam Classic, reached the Diamond Classic semifinal and finally won a 14th state crown. Those achievements helped make Gloucester Catholic the Gloucester County Times Baseball Team of the Year.
