Breaking News: Well Known Baseball Coach Killed in Traffic Accident

Bob Barth, former Gloucester City High School baseball coach, was killed earlier today in $\"BreakingNewsLogo285\"$ a traffic accident near the Creek Road exit off of Rt. 42 in Bellmawr NJ. The police have not released the exact details of the accident. An eye witness said that Mr. Barth’s SUV hit an abandon pickup truck that was parked on the side of the road.

Mr. Barth, age 58, was a teacher employed by the Lindenwold School District. He was an assistant baseball coach for Gloucester Catholic High School baseball team and a pitching and batting coach at Sports Central in Bellmawr.

Diocese of Camden – Catholic High School Graduates Excel

In May and June, a total of 1,344 students graduated from private, parish and diocesan $\"Gloucester$ run Catholic high schools in the Diocese of Camden, with over $108 million in scholarships and grants awarded to students.

A total of 1,299 of the graduates (97%) will attend college in the fall. More than 71% will attend a four year college.

The schools boasted three National Merit Scholarship Finalists, one Semi-Finalist, as well as 22 National Merit Scholarship Commended Students. In addition, 69 students were recognized as N.J. State Edward J. Bloustein Distinguished Scholars.

1,109 graduates came from parish-run high schools: Gloucester Catholic (Gloucester City), St. Joseph (Hammonton), Sacred Heart (Vineland) and Wildwood Catholic (Wildwood) and three diocesan-run schools: Camden Catholic (Cherry Hill), Paul VI (Haddon Township) and Holy Spirit (Absecon).

Also, 235 graduates were enrolled in two private Catholic schools: Bishop Eustace Preparatory School (Pennsauken) and Our Lady of Mercy Academy (Newfield). Data from St. Augustine Preparatory School, a private Catholic high school in Richland, is not included in these figures.

Companies were dispatched to Route 42 NB at Exit 14 for an overturned vehicle with entrapment. R-32 and E-332 arrived to find EMS working a trauma code there was no entrapment. Deptford R-93 secured the second vehicle that was involved. Crews contained a minor highway hazard. The scene was secured by NJSP.

Task Force 32 was dispatched to 38 West Browning Road for a dwelling fire. Squirt 32 arrived with smoke showing from the eves of a two story wood frame twin. Crews quickly located the fire in the wall cavity on the second floor in the rear, crews opened up the wall and discovered the fire had extended into the cockloft. The Crews quickly got ahead of it and the fire was placed under control around the 20 minute mark. Local housing Officals are following up with the incident. No injuries were reported. A nice job by all compaines. (Runnemede , Barrington, Mt Ephraim)
